Abstract

Nutrition for mothers and toddlers is crucial to support their long-term health. Insufficient or excessive food consumption is a problem faced by most people in Indonesia, especially in Tangerang City, Banten. There needs to be health education to explain "Isi Piringku" so that energy needs can be met for daily life. The "Isi Piringku" education was held in RW 09, Poris Gaga Lama Village, on October 18, 2024, aiming to increase parents' knowledge about balanced nutrition for children, especially in terms of vegetable and fruit diversity. This activity involved residents of RW 09 who have toddlers and representatives of health cadres. The evaluation results showed an increase in residents' knowledge of up to 75% regarding "Isi Piringku," its benefits, and the impact of not implementing it. Although the pre-test and post-test could not be carried out due to technical constraints and noisy environments, the success of this increase in knowledge indicates the effectiveness of education in increasing public awareness of healthy eating patterns and the importance of child nutrition.
